The Ministry of Finance, the majority shareholder of an international energy company Ignitis Group, has announced the proposed candidates for the company’s supervisory board. Ignitis Group shareholders will vote on five independent candidates and two ministry representatives on October 26.

The independent candidates: Alfonso Faubel, Tim Brooks as well as Bent Christensen and Judith Buss, who have already served during the previous term of the Supervisory Board, have extensive international experience in the energy sector, and in particular in the energy sector. Mr. Christensen is experienced in preparing organizations for growth and success, in merging large organizations, in implementing comprehensive change management programs.

Judith Buss has over 20 years of experience in various management positions in energy and financial companies, including E.ON. For many years she worked in international companies in Germany, Norway and the UK and gained extensive operational experience. She also has significant experience in corporate finance, leading and negotiating large international mergers and acquisitions, has worked with debt and equity markets, IPOs, is experienced in organizational and cultural change processes.

AuÅ¡ra VičkačkienÄ— has headed the Department of State Asset Management of the Ministry of Finance for more than a decade. Previously, she worked in the areas of financial services regulation and public debt management. For several years, Ms VičkačkienÄ— has represented and continues to represent the Ministry of Finance on several administrative and supervisory boards of state-owned enterprises. For AuÅ¡ra VičkačkienÄ— this would be the second consecutive term on the Ignitis Group Supervisory Board – she worked during the previous term of the Supervisory Board which ended in August since September 30, 2017.

Ingrida MuckutÄ— has headed the Reporting, Audit, Corporate Valuation and Insolvency Policy Department since 2004. The international selections of candidates for the positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of Ignitis Group were carried out by the Ministry of Finance and the agency responsible for the conduct of recruitment and management of staff UAB “J.
