Vera’s Series 11 has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, meaning ITV bosses had to disperse when the episodes aired. The first two episodes aired last year and were followed by the second two which aired in January 2022. The final episodes are expected to air later this year. In the meantime, fans have raised an issue with one of the installments.
An eagle-eyed fan spotted a potential goof near the end of episode four titled As the Crow Flies.
The episode ended with leading lady Vera entering her iconic Land Rover.
However, one fan believed it was Brenda’s stuntman riding the jeep, rather than DCI Stanhope herself.
Speaking to social media at the time, Claire Skipp asked: “At the end of tonight’s 16/16 episode, is that really you driving or is that a stuntman? I said that it’s you, he said no, can you sort this out please?” “

She then shared that filming for series 12 was to begin in Newcastle.
“We have two more episodes of Vera’s current series,” Holly began, holding up a DVD of the show.
“We have episodes one, two, three and four,” the host continued as Brenda replied, “Yeah, they’re out now.
“There will be another with five and six at some point.”
