The Trafford-born star – who played Daphne on Netflix’s Hot Series – explained, âI thought it was just another project.
âI didn’t think anyone would care. We were all confined, stuck at home and nothing changed â.
âIn the first season, people would say to me, ‘You know this could be huge’, but you never believe it and you will never understand what it does until it happens to you.
âIt’s pretty out of body and weird. It was only when we started to be able to leave the house again and there were photographers outside â.
“It was really scary – I realized if I went out in my pajamas there might be someone taking pictures.”

She then spoke more about her anxiety and explained that she had a âfear of failureâ and was seeing a therapist to help her with her difficulties.
She said: âI don’t think anybody knows how to handle this. I worry about everything. I am full of anxiety. I’m afraid of failure, of letting someone down, of contradicting myself.
âYou see what it’s like to have your sanity in the public eye. I meditate, I have a therapist, I walk every day.
There are things I do to anchor myself, because it’s pretty hectic right now.
Speaking of the entertainment industry as a whole, she added, âWhat I started to realize about this industry is that the heights can be very high.
“But the lows can be very low, so it’s about finding common ground and centering.”
“It’s really important to me and my reason to work on projects that I love and to develop characters that I find really interesting – that’s what excites me.”
