Ferne McCann admits she ‘didn’t expect’ her boyfriend to propose amid whirlwind romance | Celebrity News | Showbiz and television

Ferne McCann, 32, stunned fans earlier this year when she announced she was engaged to boyfriend Lorri Haines after a whirlwind romance. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, The Only Way Is Essex star admitted she ‘didn’t expect’ Lorri to get down on one knee during a recent trip to France.

While the couple had only been together for a few months at the time of the proposal, Ferne didn’t hesitate to say yes to her beau.

When asked if she knew what was coming, Ferne teased, “Well, I can’t say too much about that because you’ll have to watch my show.

“No, I didn’t expect that. I’m still on cloud nine about it all and feel immensely grateful.

The reality star also revealed that there are no set plans yet, but she will discuss her ideas with her four-year-old daughter on Sunday, who will “get excited” closer to her wedding day.

But even when it comes to working and filming the Ferne show, Sunday is still involved in his mother’s life.

Looking ahead, Ferne revealed how their new project with Fridays will be a memory to treasure when Sunday grows up.

Ferne explained, “It’s funny because we’ve really had the chance to do a lot of things together, including my show, which is basically my life with Sunday.

“What’s interesting about this project is that Sunday is a bit older and that’s something she will remember.

“Fridays were always where we went to treat ourselves when I was young and I have some of the most amazing memories of being there with friends and family – so having Sundays involved with me for the Fridays passes that on to the next generation.

“I’m sure there will come a day when she won’t want to do things with me anymore, which is part of growing up, so I’ll make the most of every opportunity while I can.”

Ferne, who was previously in a relationship with businessman Arthur Collins, gave birth on Sunday, November 2, 2017.
