“Living in Oakland” YouTube Channel Guy Rich Fleming Doesn’t Live in Oakland at All | Oakland News Now

Oakland News Now – “Living in Oakland” YouTube Channel Guy Rich Fleming doesn’t live in Oakland at all – Zennie62 YouTube vlog. OaklandNewsNow.com is the original blog post for this content.

I sometimes see a video called Living In Oakland when I check YouTube for informative and interesting videos and vlogs. So I finally took a look at the Living In Oakland YouTube channel. Why? Well I live in Oakland so I wondered what the market was.

Turns out the “Living In Oakland” guy is a brother (ie a black man like me) who is a real estate broker. So I figured he was in Oakland and he had all of Oakland’s video blogs. Nope. He has videos on life in a number of towns in the SF Bay Area. But what I didn’t like was a video he made called “10 Reasons Not To Live In Oakland”.

Alright, let’s go!

So I checked and it turns out the man’s name is Rich Fleming. He’s a real estate broker who works in San Ramon, which means there’s a good chance he lives there or nearby in Walnut Creek, but not Oakland.

Rich Fleming, there are a lot of good reasons to live in Oakland. Grand Lac Theater. Jack London Square. The Alley Cat bar and restaurant. The Oakland Museum. Luka’s restaurant. Lake Merritt. Connie’s canteen. The Oakland A’s. Café Van Kleef. The Oakland Rotunda. East Farley Cafe. Brown sugar cooking. The Renard Theater. Everett & Jones barbecue. The magic of children. Oakland Zoo. The Chabot Space and Science Center. Fenton’s ice cream. Zacharie’s Pizza. Miss Saigon Restaurant. Chinese food by Yang Chow.

And wait. I just listed, let’s see, 21 places. 21 reasons to live in Oakland. That’s double Rich Fleming’s 10, so I win.

Oakland is a big city. Sure, we have government leadership issues (and I hate to say that about friends, but we don’t look good right now), but that doesn’t take away from what makes Oakland great: people and places.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media’s Zennie62 YouTube and Oakland News Now Today Blog SF Bay Area: This video blog post shows the full, live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental network of mobile multimedia video blogging system Zennie62Media, Inc. which was launched in June 2018 This is an important part of Zennie62Media, Inc.’s new and innovative approach to news media production. What we call “the third wave of media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with Zennie62 on the partner channel YouTube, then automatically uploaded and formatted on the Oakland News Now site and social media pages created and owned by Zennie62. The overall goal is to report in real time to the scene of news, interviews, sightings and events all over the world and in seconds, not hours. Now the news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are needed. The secondary objective is the production and distribution of news media content faster and very inexpensively. We have found that there is a lag between the length of the post and the production time and revenue generated. With this the problem is much less, but by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly striving to improve the system’s network coding and is looking for interested multimedia content and technology partners.
